The holiday sewing season is here. A correctly working machine is essential.

Eddie from Mobile Sewing Machine Repair will tell us how to keep all types of sewing machines working in prime condition. We are collaborating with

Inspirations Quilt Store to have him on location.

A quilt is a special gift. But have you ever nervously thought, “I hope they like it”.

We show and share our story of making the quilt, why, and who it’s for. And yet,

it’s not the end of the story. Sharon Sunkle will share from a receiver’s

perspective what it’s like to receive a handmade quilt. She’ll show and share her treasured quilts and why they remain fond to her today. Sharon is an author, speaker and life coach. She will inspire everyone to keep on quilting.

It’s a New Year, so let’s learn something new. Our own Dottie Porst will teach

“One Block Wonder”. One fabric, one pattern, one block learning from one great teacher. Dottie will guide us through the steps with tips and tricks along the way.

Moneca from Mosaique Fabrics will present unique fabric and creative ideas. Get out of your box! She will demonstrate how to take fabric from drab to fab by fabric pairing and the pattern choosing. This is going to be fun!

Lou Sendelbach from Retro Sew presents, “Antique and Vintage sewing machines; through the years.” Retro Sew specializes in restoration, repair, and maintenance of vintage sewing machines. Lou has presented at Sewing Machines Plus, and local education groups.
